Sweet Pongal in Instant Pot

Sweet Pongal is easy & healthy dessert , made with Rice, Moong dal ,Jaggery & milk.

Recipe:

Sweet Pongal

* On Saute ,
Add :
1. Ghee – 1 Tablespoon
2. Cashews – few
3. Raisins – few

Fry till cashews turn light brown

Add :
Rice – 1 cup
Moong dal – 1/2 cup
{ wash rice & moong dal }

Stir – fry for 1 minute

Add :
Water – 3 cups

* Cancel Saute

* Close the lid and Seal

* Time Setting:
On Rice mode

* when done Natural Release,

Open the lid,

* Again on saute ,

Add :
Milk – 3 Cups
Cardamom powder – pinch

Cook for 3 minutes

* Cancel Saute

Add Jaggery (grated) – 1 & 1/2 cups
Mix Well .

* Close the lid for 5 minutes.
