  1. I lost 70 pounds 7 years ago but it was on the all protein and fat "Atkins" diet. It did not last long because I had not studied the micros and how important they are for good health. I was all focused on the macros at that time. I now understand how important the micros are for healing and weight loss and you were a big part of my awakening. I am almost 8 weeks in and I have went from 245 to 195 and feel great! This time I don't even have a target weight as my body will go where it wants naturally! Thank you and your staff!

  2. You have helped a lot. Can you do a video on ferritin and iron metabolism. For men we have too much and women there is too little.

  3. Hiwhats a healthy fats in ketosis please. I’m new to all this n trying hard to loose weight. I wish u can do a video on THE FOOD on ketosis. Thanks

  4. Is lean protein that spikes your insulin okay if you’re 26 and trying to bulk up on muscle by lifting heavy weights?

  5. Hi Dr my name is Hana on May 16 I will be fasting for a whole month it’s a religious thing and we eat after sunset so I want to take advantage of it and do ketosis diet so do you think eating this late the diet will be effective. Thanks

  6. Myplate expects people to be on the treadmill 23.5 hours a day with a feed bag strapped to their necks

  7. Dr. Berg thank you for your info. Always really helpful. One question: You talk about ounces and percentage, can you please define how much fat and protein one should consum in numbers and quantity. Ex, you always spcify about the 7 to 10 cups of vegs a day, but not the same about protein. What I mean is, can I eat one big t bone or two or three drumsticks, or 10 wings or two pork chops, or two chicken tights, or two chicken breast, half of a avocado, 1/3of cheese etc etc. Thank you for your help!

  8. Dr.Eric I would rather go with your dinner plate. Bread/fruit/potatoes will kick me out of keatosis. thank you for the wonderful tips as always. I want to know if you have videos on your shakes because I want to order. how long will they last. I need meal replacements.

  9. When Dr. Berg says not to combine proteins with sugars (keto wheel) is what it means that you can not eat a keto bagel or other keto bread with its meat (ham sandwich, hamburger with keto bread )?

  10. Dr. BERG,
Have you heard of the new Documentary called "The Magic Pill"?
It covers the idea that our bodies should run on fat instead of sugar for fuel.

  11. This info needs to be gone over many times as it is the starting point of understanding keto. So much confusion on it. Thanks.

  12. Great video, Dr. Berg. I am training now pretty hard on my bicycle and i need more power. Im not sure if im eating enough because i am so very tired after my day. (Im 55 and i work a pretty physical job 8 hrs, plus my miles.) Any videos on this topic? LCHF for athletes and performance. Thanks.

  13. Thanks for your videos Dr. Berg. I worked out in the gym 2 hrs a day for 6 months and didnt lose ant weight. Skin became saggy, always hungry…i knew something was wrong. Ive been following this diet and dropped over 10 lbs in 3 weeks and still going! Just graduated nutrition school…going to share this with my clients!

  14. Today I ate two boiled eggs, 1/2 grapefruit, and one Weight Control instant oatmeal added walnuts mixed w/almond milk. This oatmeal has total carbs 28 grams w/6g fiber bringing net carbs to 22g. Second meal I had a huge salad with 5oz can light tuna, added walnuts, sunflower seeds, cheese, bacon with ACV and ranch. Snack a bullet coffee. Just wondering if this is ok for a keto diet?

  15. Love your vids Dr. Berg. Just want to point out that the word potato does not have an "e" at the end, as on your dry erase board. The plural, "potatoes" does contain an "e". Thanks.

  16. BRILLIANT VIDEO DR BERG! IF I WAS A KETO BEGINNER THAT WOULD BE THE ULTIMATE GUIDE FOR UNDERSTANDING KETO! THANKS

  17. I don't do ketosis plate or my plate. I do what's best for my body. I can't do high amounts of fats bc if I do to high my can't absorb all that fat. But I do consume a lot of chia seeds. And old fashion oatmeal and my stomach is still toning up. But also make a green shake that has 8oz of dark leafy greens in it.

  18. So, if I had some lean ham but sprinkled cheese on the salad is this the same as a piece of fatty meat? Not everyone likes to eat fatty meat you see.

  19. i have a stoma and can not or have been told repeatedly…not to eat anything leafy or mushrooms. Pasta is good for a stoma, I was told. What would be suggested as replacement as I can not eat salads…I can liquidize them but that is not a plate

  20. Gee, I wonder if the fact that the US grows so much friggin corn and wheat could have anything to do with why they recommend so much grain consumption…

  21. Dr Berg pls dont Disturb my plate i think they mean as grains oats,Barley, quinoa… Thèse are low gi nobody thinks or eats bread or pancakes to be Healthy. We r not that idiot
