How to make a Delicious and Healthy Smoothie!!!



This video is all about a very healthy and delicious smoothie and if you want my amazing recipe please go ahead and watch my video i promise you that you will not regret it.

INGREDIENTS FOR SMOOTHIE:

Blender or Nutribullet (Magic Bullet 900 series)

yogurt ,vanilla or chocolate 5.3 oz (150g)

milk of your choice (1 cup for a thicker consistency if normal milk but if the milk has a thicker consistency by itself then 1 and a 1/2 cup and 2 cups for a thinner consistency) your preference either way is delicious

Flax-seeds (organic) ground or whole or Chia seeds.which ever you prefer both are good for digestions and contains high fiber
(3-4 Tablespoons).

Sweetened coconut flakes (3 Tablespoon) if allergic to coconut please leave out.

Granola (1/2 cup)
You can use ready made granola if you prefer but if you want to make your own from scratch which is inexpensive and easy then i will have my recipe below.

METHOD:

Combine all above ingredients in a blender for about 12-15 sec or until everything is well blended.
Pour into a glass and enjoy!!!
If you heading to the gym feel free to add any protein supplement to this smoothie.
To serve chilled refrigerate the smoothie for about 3 hrs.

NO SUGAR IS ADDED TO THIS SMOOTHIE BECAUSE THE SWEETNESS COMES FROM THE CRANBERRIES,SWEETENED COCONUT FLAKES AND YOGURT BUT IF YOU HAVE A SWEET TOOTH AND REQUIRE ADDITIONAL SWEETNESS THEN YOU MAY ADD SOME HONEY , SUGAR OR AGAVE SYRUP BUT NOT TOO MUCH BECAUSE ANYTHING TO MUCH IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU!!!

MY GRANOLA RECIPE:

Rolled oats ( 6 cups or for bigger batch 10 cups)

Pecan nuts (optional 1 cup)

Sliced Almonds (2 cups)

Cranberry or Raisins ( 2 cups)

Sliced Cashews (2 cups )

Peanuts (2 cups)

IF YOU DO NOT LIKE TOO MUCH NUTS THEN PLEASE REDUCE THEM TO JUST A CUP IT WILL STILL HAVE THE GREAT TASTE JUST LESS NUTTY.

Brown sugar (3 Tablespoon)

Water ( 1 cup)

METHOD:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

In a large glass bowl combine all the above ingredients together and set aside.
In a small pot heat 1 cup water and add the 3 Tablespoon sugar.
Bring to a bowl and remove from the stove once sugar is melted which wont take too long once water comes to a boil.

Remove pot from stove and drop the syrup mixture into your glass bowl with the rest of the other ingredients,combine well until you see all of the granola mixture is well coated.

Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

Allow the granola to toast in the oven for about 20 mins or until golden brown, please check the granola continuously to avoid it from getting burned.

Once done remove from oven and allow to cool down and once cool transfer it into a plastic bag or zip-lock bag.
Store in the fridge until granola mixture is finished
